Video: Drake – ‘Old Money’ & ‘Justin Bieber’ Comedy Skits

Drake hosted the 2011 Juno Awards in Toronto last night, winning-over the audience at the Air Canada Centre with a series of comedic skits, although failing to win any of the six awards for which he was nominated.

Proving hilarious in the opening skit, the rapper receives a Skype video call from Justin Bieber in Rotterdam – the teen sensation concerned that Canada will forget him as he continues on his relentless world tour. Drake reassures the teen sensation he will never be forgotten and proceeds to serenade Bieber with an acapella rendition of Sarah McLaughlin’s “I Will Remember You”.

Another skit has Drake performing market research in a retirement home with hopes of channelling a new demographic that might boost his album sales. “My last album did well, but it could’ve done better in my opinion. So for this new one coming out this year, which is called Take Care, I think I’ve devised a plan…” reveals the 24 year-old. “I really feel like I’ve stumbled on an untapped goldmine… and instead of Young Money, today it’s all about Old Money.”
